In October 2016, Egintinus began his journey in the tourism industry by joining a well-established travel company in Labuan Bajo. Armed with a degree in English literature and a deep appreciation for the rich culture and natural beauty of Flores, Egintinus quickly made his mark. Over two years, he gained hands-on experience, built strong relationships with travelers and stakeholders, and developed a keen understanding of the region’s tourism potential. Driven by a vision to provide more personalized and authentic travel experiences, Egintinus decided to chart his own path. In 2019, he founded PT Flores Fantastic Tours, a company dedicated to showcasing the best of Flores and its surrounding islands. With a strong emphasis on sustainability and community empowerment, Egintinus set out to create a platform where travelers could not only explore the breathtaking landscapes of Flores but also connect with its vibrant culture and traditions.
